El sábado día 28 de julio tenemos luna creciente y con ese pretexto, hemos organizado una
excursión nocturna para disfrutar del embrujo tan especial que tiene la luna
sobre Sierra Blanca.
Subiremos desde Puerto Rico Bajo al Llano de Juanar, la ruta es de unos 4,5
kilómetros, todo el recorrido es ascendente por lo que se tarda unas tres horas
en llegar al llano. La vuelta será por el mismo camino de la subida.
La dificultad es media alta.
La salida será a las 21 horas desde la cadena de Puerto Rico Bajo, sin hora
fija de llegada, iremos relajados disfrutando de la noche en la naturaleza.
A esta excursión no se recomienda llevar perro por el peligro que conlleva
para los senderistas, el ir y venir del animal por el camino en la oscuridad
Se recomienda llevar: calzado de montaña, bocadillo, agua suficiente,
linterna, ropa según climatología (algo de abrigo por si refresca) y cámara de
foto.

As the moon is rising on July 28th we have organised a
nocturnal excursion in order to enjoy the magic of the moonlight over the
Sierra Blanca.
We will go from Puerto Rico Bajo to the Llano de Juanar
and this route has a length of about 4.5 km. As it is all going upwards it will
take us about three hours to reach our destination. We will make our way back
via the same route.
The grade of difficulty for this route is medium/high.
Our meeting point is at the chain across the path at
Puerto Rico Baja from where we will leave at 21.00 hours As this is meant to be
a leisurely walk whilst enjoying the nocturnal scenery we have not set a fixed
time of return.
We would like our excursionists to leave their dogs at
home as it can be rather dangerous to look after your animal in the middle of the night on a small
mountain road.
Furthermore it is advisable to wear mountain boots and
please bring your own food and drink, as
well as a jumper (it can be rather cool at night). Don’t forget you
camera and a strong torchlight.
