Este domingo 19 de febrero vamos a realizar otra salida por uno de los caminos históricos que recorrían nuestra comarca, en esta ocasión caminaremos por parte del camino que desde Marbella se dirigía a Ronda pasando por el poblado del Daidín.
Saldremos a las 9 de la mañana desde el Arroyo de La Represa, junto al Museo de los Bonsáis, desde donde nos dirigiremos con los vehículos particulares hasta la zona Norte de El Ángel y tras recorrer unos kilómetros por carriles que están en buen estado por lo que se puede hacer con un turismo,no necesariamente todoterreno, comenzáremos a andar.
Desde El Ángel partía el antiguo camino de Marbella a Ronda, comenzáremos a sendear a los pies de la Sierra de Las Apretaderas, una zona que sufrió una fuerte deforestación a consecuencia de la actividad de las ferrerías, desde esta zona tendremos una bellisima panoramica del Pantano de La Concepción con La Concha al fondo.
Cuando lleguemos a lo alto de la loma, el camino se bifurca, el principal es el que se dirigía directamente a Ronda y el otro bajaba al Río Guadaiza para después de cruzarlo ir direccion al Daidín.
Bajaremos por este último camino y llegaremos hasta el Cortijo de Las Maquinas, situado en la orilla izquierda del río y rodeado de un tupido bosque mediterráneo.
El recorrido son unos 9 kilómetros ida y regresaremos por el mismo camino, por lo tanto unos 18 kilómetros, casi todos por carril.
Se recomienda llevar zapato de montaña, ropa arreglado a la climatología, agua, bocadillo, cámara de fotos y buen ánimo para caminar disfrutando de los hermosos paisajes que se encuentra a lo largo del recorrido.

Sunday, February 19th, we will have another walk along one of the historic mountain trails that can be found in the area near Marbella. Part of this walk will take us along the old road that runs from Marbella to Ronda and the Daidin settlement.
We will leave at nine in the morning from the Arroyo de La Represa, next to the Bonsai Museum from where we go with our own transport to the northern zone of El Angel. From there we drive along a track that is in perfect condition for standard vehicles and after a few kilometres we will start our hike.
The old Marbella-Ronda track starts from El Angel and takes us to the foothills of the Sierra de Las Apretaderas, an area that has suffered from deforestation due to the blast furnaces that could be found here in the second half of the 19th century when iron ore was extracted from nearby mines. Nevertheless we will be able to enjoy the magnificent views that this area provides us from the Concepción reservoir with a backdrop of the impressive Concha mountain.
Once we have reached the mountain ridge the track splits in two, the main one leads directly to Ronda and the other one goes down to the Gudaiza river and continues to Daidin.
We will take this last track in order to arrive at the Cortijo de las Maquinas situated at the riverside and surrounded by a dense Mediterranean forest. The total length of this walk is about 18 kilometres coming and going along the same track.
It is advisable to wear sturdy boots and to be properly dressed for the prevailing weather conditions. Don’t forget to take your own food and water as well as a camera. and of course the right attitude for this light exercise that will enable you to enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the Andalusian mountain side.
